Water Extraction in South Florida

Every gallon pulled out now is a gallon you do not have to evaporate later. Extraction is the fastest way to limit damage.

What it involves

Extraction removes liquid water from floors, carpet, pad and cavities before it wicks deeper into drywall, cabinetry and subfloor. It is the single highest-leverage step in the first hours of a water loss.

We use extraction equipment matched to the surface — wands for hard floors, weighted extraction for carpet and pad, and pumps when water is deeper. After extraction, readings tell us where water is still hiding.

Signs you need it

  • Standing water on tile, wood or concrete
  • Carpet that squishes underfoot
  • Water pooling along walls or under cabinets
  • Flooded garage or utility room

Questions

Water Extraction FAQ

Can I use a wet-vac myself?

For a small, clean-water spill a wet-vac can help. For larger areas, water under flooring or inside walls, professional extraction and moisture readings are the safer path.

Is extraction enough by itself?

Rarely. Extraction removes liquid water, but materials stay saturated. Structural drying removes the moisture you cannot see.

What if the water is from a sewage backup?

Contaminated water is handled differently, with protective equipment and removal of porous materials. See our sewage backup cleanup service.
